Winners exonerated…
Winners of the Commonwealth Foundation’s short story literary prize, who were accused of using AI, have been cleared after a review. Following the controversy, Granta, which has published all winning entries since 2012, has decided to end all external partnerships in order to maintain editorial integrity.
Free Hamilton event…
On August 23, the sixth annual Authors in the Park will be at Victoria Park in Hamilton, Ontario from 1-5 PM. Founded by Bill King, this festival is free for attending authors and visitors and has had steady growth since its inception in 2021. The event does not have a website but details can be found on Bill King’s Facebook page.
