BookCon returns…
BookCon is returning to the Javits Center in Manhattan on April 18-19 after a six year break. This year the Con will have a focus on genre fiction and BookTok, as well as a serious variety of interactive events which span everything from a fantasy ball to book-binding workshops. Tickets to the event sold out almost as soon as it was announced in fall of 2025 and organizers are preparing for a very busy weekend!

National Book Foundation Honours…
The National Book Foundations 5 Under 35 Honorees have been announced and the selected debut authors will be celebrated at a ceremony taking place this June. Check out the authors and their awarded titles at the link above.

McFadden Unmasked…
Freida McFadden, the author of such thrillers as The Housemaid, has revealed her true identity as Sara Cohen, a doctor who specializes in brain disorders (work she has largely stepped away from as her publishing career took off). Details (including the inspiration for her pseudonym), here!
