Film-worthy titles…

International Booker shortlist…

2026 marks the 10th year of the International Booker Prize for fiction translated into English and the shortlist has just been announced. This year’s list of six author-translator pairs includes two debuts! You can read all of the details in this article from The Guardian. I plan to add a few of these books to my own list, starting with Daniel Kehlmann’s!

An adult debut for John Green fans…

John Green’s adult fiction debut (and first book after almost a decade-long hiatus) has been picked up by the Penguin Random House imprint Dutton. Green has spent eight years working on Hollywood, Ending, which will release on September 22, 2026, with a simultaneous release in the UK.
