This week an author in the SYWW community asked us to share their experience with Austin Macauley, a publisher they had been with for several years. After seeking unpaid royalties, the author found themselves removed from the publisher’s website and hope to keep others from having a similar unfortunate experience. Having an agent or lawyer review your contract can be well worth the cost to avoid later heartaches.

Comic scares…

The horror genre has been enjoying a recent boom and publishers of manga, manhwa, manhua, and other East Asian influenced pop comics are picking up on the trend. In Publishers Weekly, Shaenon K.
