Staffers at the University of Chicago Press have joined the Chicago News Guild, TNG-CWA Local 34071, requesting recognition and cooperation from UCP which has not had a union for its 130-year existence. The move comes on the heels of Hachette workers creating the Hachette Workers Coalition last week.
